Kamelot

One of the biggest names in power metal today, Kamelot was formed way back in 1991 by guitarist Thom Youngblood and drummer Richard Warner but it wasn't till 1995 that they released their first album Eternity. The release of "Eternity" and their follow-up "Dominion" catapulted them to one of the biggest names in metal. But problems struck early for the band when Warner and vocalist Mark Vanderbilt could not tour and would soon leave the band. Enter new drummer Casey Grillo and Norwegian born vocalist Roy Khan and in 1998 the new line-up released "Siege Perilious" and there has been no looking back since. Kamelot, even today, continues to infuse a freshness and intensity in its music and lyrics that continue to keep them reigning as one of the undisputed heavyweights of metal, anywhere.
